I have lost tooth 11 because of parodontosis. I have a granuloma at tooth 12. Can I get an implant at tooth 11 without solving problem 12

Sehr geehrte(r) Patient(in),

vielen Dank für Ihr Anliegen. Basierend auf Ihren Informationen möchte ich Ihnen den folgenden Behandlungsplan vorschlagen.

Zunächst einmal ist es sehr wichtig, das Granulom an Zahn 12 zu behandeln, bevor wir eine Implantation an Zahn 11 in Betracht ziehen. Ein unbehandeltes Granulom kann zu einer Infektion führen, die sich auf das Implantat auswirken und dessen Erfolg gefährden könnte.

Die Behandlung des Granuloms kann auf verschiedene Weisen erfolgen, abhängig von dessen Größe und Tiefe. Eine Möglichkeit ist die konventionelle Wurzelkanalbehandlung, bei der das infizierte Gewebe entfernt und der Kanal gereinigt und gefüllt wird.

Wenn das Granulom sehr groß ist oder die Wurzelkanalbehandlung nicht erfolgreich ist, könnte eine chirurgische Intervention notwendig sein, wie zum Beispiel eine Wurzelspitzenresektion. Bei diesem Eingriff wird die Wurzelspitze zusammen mit dem Granulom entfernt.

Nach der erfolgreichen Behandlung des Granuloms können wir dann den Implantationsprozess für Zahn 11 starten. Dabei verläuft die Implantation in mehreren Schritten:

1. Diagnose und Planung: Hierzu führen wir eine 3D-Untersuchung durch, um das Knochenangebot präzise zu beurteilen und den Eingriff exakt zu planen.

2. Implantation: Unter Verwendung der 3D-Implantatnavigation und Stanztechnik setzen wir das Implantat ein. Diese Methode ermöglicht eine genaue Positionierung des Implantats und minimiert das Risiko von Komplikationen.

3. Einsetzen des Abutments: Nach einer Heilungsphase von einigen Wochen setzen wir das individuelle Abutment ein, das als Verbindung zwischen Implantat und Krone dient.

4. Anpassung der Krone: Zuletzt fertigen wir eine individuelle Vollkeramikkrone an, die auf das Abutment gesetzt wird.

Firstly, it is very important to treat the granuloma at tooth 12 before considering an implantation at tooth 11. An untreated granuloma can lead to an infection that could affect the implant and jeopardize its success.

The treatment of the granuloma can be done in different ways, depending on its size and depth. One option is conventional root canal treatment, where the infected tissue is removed and the canal is cleaned and filled.

If the granuloma is very large or the root canal treatment is not successful, surgical intervention may be necessary, such as an apicoectomy. In this procedure, the root tip is removed along with the granuloma.

After the successful treatment of the granuloma, we can then start the implantation process for tooth 11. The implantation is done in several steps:

1. Diagnosis and planning: We perform a 3D examination to accurately assess the bone supply and plan the procedure precisely.

2. Implantation: Using 3D implant navigation and punch technique, we insert the implant. This method allows precise positioning of the implant and minimizes the risk of complications.

3. Insertion of the abutment: After a healing period of several weeks, we insert the individual abutment, which serves as the connection between the implant and the crown.

4. Adjustment of the crown: Finally, we manufacture an individual all-ceramic crown, which is placed on the abutment.
