Treatment Plan

The treatment plan consists of four major steps:

  1. Diagnosis
  2. Implant placement
  3. Abutment placement
  4. Crown placement

Step 1: Diagnosis

After gathering your medical history, we will perform a thorough examination of your mouth and dental structures.

This includes a 3D Scan and 3D DVT to assess the bone quantity and quality, as well as to determine the ideal position and size of the implant. The cost for this diagnostic package is €180.

Step 2: Implant Placement

Once the diagnosis is complete, we will proceed with the implant placement.

This is performed under local anesthesia. A small hole is drilled into the bone at the precise location determined by the 3D plan, and the implant is inserted.

The procedure is guided by computer navigation and involves a minimally invasive “punch” technique which avoids the need for a large incision or sutures.

The cost for this procedure is €1,476.

Step 3: Abutment Placement

The implant needs to heal and integrate with the bone for a period of about 3 months.

After this healing period, an abutment is attached to the implant. This is the part of the implant that will hold the crown.

The cost for the abutment is €280.

Step 4: Crown Placement

Finally, a permanent ceramic crown is attached to the abutment. This crown is shaped and color-matched to your natural teeth, providing a functional and aesthetic replacement for the missing tooth.

The cost for the crown is €1,132.

Alternative Treatment Options

If the implant treatment is not suitable for you, possible alternative options might include:

  • Bridge: This involves using the adjacent teeth as supports for a replacement tooth.
  • Partial Denture: This is a removable device that holds one or more replacement teeth.
  • Full Denture: If all teeth are missing, a full denture may be an option.
  • No Treatment: Depending on the location and function of the missing tooth, it might be possible to leave the space empty. However, this can lead to issues such as shifting of other teeth, changes in bite, and difficulty with eating and speaking.

Each of these options has its own advantages, disadvantages, and costs, which can be discussed in detail during your consultation.

Individual Abutment 1 €280
Ceramic Crown 1 €1,132
Total €3,068

Note: This cost estimate does not include any necessary extractions, bone grafts, or other additional procedures. The final cost may be higher depending on the complexity of your case.
