Is there a special condition in my anamnesis

Dear Sarah,

I hope this letter finds you well. This is Linda Lee Beighle, personal assistant to Dr. Michael Truppe. I am writing in response to your question and to provide you with a summary of your medical history, specifically in relation to your recent inquiry about lip fillers.

First and foremost, you should always consult with your physician or a medical professional before undergoing any cosmetic procedure. This is to ensure your safety, as well as to discuss any potential risks or complications that might arise due to your medical conditions or lifestyle habits.

Upon reviewing your medical history, there are two conditions that Dr. Truppe would like to highlight. These are your history of recurrent cold sores and your diagnosis of Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD).

Cold sores, also known as herpes simplex infections, can potentially be triggered by trauma to the area, such as that caused by a lip filler injection. This means that if you choose to proceed with the lip filler treatment, there is a risk that you may experience an outbreak of cold sores following the procedure. However, this risk can be managed effectively with the use of prophylactic antiviral medication, which would be prescribed by Dr. Truppe.

It’s also important to note that patients with a history of Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD) need to be managed carefully when considering cosmetic procedures. Anxiety can sometimes cause patients to have unrealistic expectations about the results of such procedures. Dr. Truppe would like to ensure that you have a clear understanding and realistic expectations of the potential results and risks associated with lip fillers before proceeding.

In terms of your medication, you are currently taking Levothyroxine, which is a common medication for managing hypothyroidism. There should be no interaction between this medication and the materials used in lip fillers, but it’s always best to mention all medications you’re taking to the physician performing the procedure.

As always, your safety and satisfaction are our highest priority. Dr. Truppe would be more than happy to meet with you to discuss these factors in more detail and answer any further questions you might have. Please don’t hesitate to call our office at +43 1 4089500 to arrange a consultation.

We hope this information has been helpful to you, Sarah. Please remember that any decision about your health should be made in consultation with a healthcare provider, and we are here to support you in making the best decision for your needs and circumstances.

Take care and we look forward to hearing from you soon.

Yours sincerely,

Linda Lee Beighle
